The 2025 K2 Mindbender 96C is a supremely versatile all-mountain ski that appeals to a broad range of skiers for its ease of use, intuitiveness, and vast capabilities. No matter the condition or terrain, the 96C is a fantastic choice for less aggressive skiers that want a versatile option that will not punish them after a full day on the slopes. Whether it be bumps, trees, or simply on-trail cruising, the 96C always has something special to offer.

Why we like it:

The 96C’s pure versatility and ease of use is what we really have grown to appreciate. For many skiers, this is the one to do it all and do it well. A one-ski-quiver for most folks who enjoy all that the resort has the offer.

Who it's for:

Intermediate to advanced skiers who seek a ski that is easy to use and manipulate that can handle any terrain or snow condition.

Highlights:

K2’s Aspen Micro Block core uses small stringers of aspen to provide composure and stability as well as forgiving flex pattern for a well-balanced feel on snow. Carbon Spectral Braid fine-tunes the flex pattern of the ski to make the forebody of the ski have torsional stiffness for proper turn engagement while the tails have more longitudinal stiffness for stability and charging capacities. Bio-Resin adhesives used to hold the ski together is a green approach to construction to lessen the footprint of production. Uni-Directional Flax functions for vibration damping and smoothness in variable snow.

Things to consider:

The Mindbender 96C is fairly supple in flex pattern which makes it a great option for progressing intermediates and less aggressive advanced skiers. This suppleness makes it slight underpowered for more aggressive skiers and hard charging carving on firm snow.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to size.
