Offered is a vintage Wedgwood Faneuil Hall, Called the "Cradle of Liberty" souvenir plate. This British Staffordshire transferware plate features the church and a pretty floral border. This rare red and white plate imprinted Wedgwood was Made in England by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, England. Sole importers, Jones, McDuffee and Stratton, Boston. The historic plate measures approximately 10 1/4" in diameter with no cracks or chips; with minor surface scratching.

The reverse says, "The Faneuil Hall, Called the "Cradle of Liberty". This was the first colonial attempt at academic design, completed in 1742. From the plans of John Smibert, the colonial portrait painter, and given by Peter Faneuil, a Boston merchant. Produced exclusively for the Jordan Marsh Company.
